Abstract

Based on the content analysis method and by comparing the works, the present research tries to understand the currents formed in the studies of Quranic stylistics in Iran. In this direction and to achieve the desired goal, this research has examined the trends of stylistics in Quranic studies in Iran in terms of time, people and characteristics. The findings of the research show that since the mid-70s until now, three periods have passed in the study of the stylistics of the Qur'an in Iran: the period of the introduction of stylistic topics, the period of growth and expansion of stylistic topics, and the period of the emergence of more complex approaches to style. Knowledge in Quranic studies. In the first period, there are characteristics such as generality and the lack of specificity of the discussion frameworks, rudimentary and non-applicable studies and weakness in theoretical foundations, in the second period there are characteristics such as paying attention to theoretical foundations, adapting the topics to the verses of the Quran, pluralism. The researches carried out compared to the first period and usually repetitive and paying attention to different stylistic approaches and the third period have characteristics including focusing on a linguistic layer or a specific component of a linguistic layer, adding depth to the studies, the emergence of a critical stylistic approach. And creating a link between the topics of stylistics with other linguistic studies, including semantics and usage, is one of the distinguishing features of the three periods.
