Abstract

Hadith as narrator of tradition is one of the most important main sources for deriving Islamic rulings and teachings. In the process of transmission of hadith tradition until the present era, some hadiths have suffered from reasons such as additions to the text. Although the volume and number of these texts are small; However, in the validation process, as well as the understanding and entry of the hadith into the cycle of authenticity and practice, the researcher is bound to identify these cases. The basic question that this article seeks to answer is "what are the ways to identify and discover the real additions to hadiths?". The present article has tried to introduce the basic ways of identifying and discovering additions to the texts of hadiths in a descriptive and analytical way and using written sources and existing documents. The use of manuscripts, research text analysis, the use of the knowledge of Takhrij and the origination of the narration, paying attention to the role of the narrator in the process of transmission of the hadith tradition are among the ways to identify and discover the real additions to the narrations. The basic question that this article seeks to answer is, It is "What are the ways to identify and discover additions to hadiths?".
