Abstract

The term self-interpretation, which is used in the works of some contemporary thinkers such as Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli, faces ambiguities. Because on the one hand, it is about interpretation, and on the other hand, the examples of self-interpretation in his works are reminiscent of the method of interpreting the Qur'an in a mystical approach. Therefore, the question arises as to what is the truth of self-interpretation and what is its relationship with the interpretation of the Qur'an. The present research with a descriptive-analytical method, after explaining the self-interpretation among its uses in the works of Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli, deals with its relationship with interpretation in his opinion. The results of this research indicate that the self-interpretation is the interpretation that emphasizes the basics of anthropology. Of course, there are also differences between the two; Such as self-interpretation, which is a kind of existential interpretation, means the expression of the ascendant authorities of man, while interpretation is not necessarily existential. The self-interpretation leads to the improvement of the human soul and the acceptance of the truths of the Qur'an in their dignified authorities.
