Abstract

A monographic study of the similar and ambiguous verses of the Quran and a typological analysis of the interpretive theories related to them are considered important and necessary research in the field of Quranic interpretation, the fruit of which is in clarifying the concepts and arguments of the undeniable verses. On this basis, the present study, using description and analysis of data, has examined verse 17 of Surah Anfal - the verse of al-Rami - and has classified the prominent interpretive theories related to it into five types, which are: 1- Absolute negation of the effect, causality, and agency of the creature; 2- Denial of independence in the effect of the act; 3- The role of unseen aids in achieving the victory of Muslims; 4- Indication of existential monotheism; 5- Summarization of unity and plurality; 6- Philosophical. Among the aforementioned theories, the first theory cannot be considered a correct theory, but each of the other theories can appear correct from one aspect and perspective. However, from the author's perspective, the evidence indicating the effect of unseen help on the Muslims' victory in the Battle of Badr is more abundant and more acceptable.
