This article addresses the similarity of the rhetorical style of the Qur'ān with the Western rhetoric, emphasizing the speech tone of the Qur'ān. First, the rhetorical style of the Qur'ān is dealt with and the existence of its aspects corresponding to the rhetoric proponent in the West is pointed out. Then, the relevant outcomes are touched upon in the introductory discourse. Following that, in the main body of the research, the foundations of the rhetorical style of the Qur'ān and its similarity with the Western rhetoric are examined and the speech tone in the Qur'ān
is stressed. Presenting some examples from the Qur'ānic verses, this article undertakes to examine the speech tone or the phonetic aspects of the Qur'an, including the music of the letters, words, sentences, as well as the cadence and rhyme.
